(Anonymous) 2020-05-30 10:54 am (UTC)(link)You are born, generally, as male or female. Body parts are the main show as to who's who. Trans Identity is separate from Sexual and Biological Identities. They are are separate things because they do not overlap in their understanding/preferences/beings of who they are. And there is nothing wrong with that.
We are not talking about fish or any other species whose quirks distinguish themselves from our own, we are talking about the Homosapien evolution that allowed us to exist today. Biological sex is in fact real. There is no disputing this. I am a woman because of what my body was born to be, biologically female.
Transexuals do not decide their actions based on 'male'/'female' stereotypes. By denying biological sex you are denying a persons right to define themselves as who they are by this standard, you are allowing stereotype to be the only means to define sex.
Naturally produced hormones, body parts, and living through the tortures of growing up and living with those traits is the result of biological sex. There is no pretending this fact does not exist simply because someone might think it could challenge someones way of life. Simply because it is common does not mean it is invalid.

(Anonymous) 2020-05-30 11:32 am (UTC)(link)Also can you tell my polycystic ovaries that - the bastard thing is making me grow a beard that I don't want and most women don't have.

(Anonymous) 2020-05-30 11:47 am (UTC)(link)I have plenty of facial hair, being a potential bearded lady if you shaved and put the effort into it, does not mean that you are a man, it defines the misunderstanding of genetics that cause for certain people to have potential dysphoria in the first place. It has no weight on you're biological gender, nor your identified gender, as relying on public acceptance/understanding as a means to define who you are, is simply not any sort of means you should attest such a personal and individualized matter to.

(Anonymous) 2020-05-31 08:44 am (UTC)(link)I will, too bad you'll be to dead to notice.
If you have a problem with my beliefs, say as such- make notes, and take pointers, otherwise all your issues exist internally and have no basis with me... I want you to be specific. What about that I've said offends you to such a degree?

(Anonymous) 2020-05-30 11:59 am (UTC)(link)Try reading what I wrote first if you don't mind. I said that trans people do not define themselves by gender stereotypes, nor should they.
It's the denial that being born by a biological meter that should imply such things. Biological sex exists, the word 'trans' would not apply otherwise, being trans does not mean you exist within a 'male' or 'female' stereotype, as such a thing does not exist. It's about being comfortable in your own skin. no matter who, what, or why, you are.

(Anonymous) 2020-05-30 12:03 pm (UTC)(link)What does it mean to be a man or a woman? Going by what a lot of people on the trans spectrum say it's a hodgepodge of gender stereotypes. terves didn't make twirly skirts and programmer socks up.

(Anonymous) 2020-05-31 08:57 am (UTC)(link)Confirming biological sex is exactly what got people up in arms about JK in the first place. People who are most likely not trans and do not understand what being trans means, will jump on any and all possibly phobia, regardless of if the Trans community, let alone the trans individuals inside agree with such assumptions.
See first comment, and all previous secrets of this type for example and proof, if you don't mind.
Other than that I have no idea what you're even possibly trying to say. As appearance can mean a full-on fall into dysphoria when someone unknowingly addresses someone as anything other than the gender they identify as. Otherwise, I agree, I do not give a shit about gender, as being male/female does not preclude to the abilities nor intentions of the individual at hand, let alone who that person is down to their base personality.
If you could be more specific to your issue with my comment, that would be nice. Otherwise, know what you're talking about before making generalized statements as if they're truth, thank you.
um
(Anonymous) 2020-06-01 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)they are a part of your body - until they fall out so you can type a rambling incoherent comment.
I love how cis people seem to think trans people don't know anything about science or sex when we're repeatedly condescended to by every half-witted internet expert who wants to enlighten us with half-remembered knowledge they learned about chromosomes in science class 15 years ago.
shockingly, I have noticed my vagina, because contrary to what you all apparently think, trans people are not idiots, and probably know a hell of a lot more about biological sex than you do, and certainly know a hell of a lot more about being trans than you do.
