lol ikr? the wildest thing about the whole reylo thing is people blame the fandom for it being in the movie, like the director had no say in that choice.
lol damn I wish that all the Spock x Kirk fanfiction could have swayed all the star trek movies ever after to have more explicit spirk scenes lol.

unfortunately, this film seems to have been largely stitched together by disney corporate after they conducted some consumer surveys rather than the director, or anyone who cared about star wars or making good movies, so it sadly might not be as far from the truth as you think
