Yeah I've been a shipper since TFA, but the baffling amount of "one way" or the other arguments made for or against this ship have kind of astounded me. Although, ship wars are pretty common in every fandom, it's still odd to me how much time some people devote to hating one ship or trying to label it as horrible and "problematic". I'm just used to crack shipping, so I didn't feel an urge to push it on to people, or explain why it has to be canon, or why it has to be a certain way. I just make my art in peace.
