I mean, I guess those sets were incentives with extras? Sure they were kinda pricey, but localization wasn't cheap. It's nice that they have streaming services now and make different titles more accessible. Although a lot of old gems get lost in the mix now that there are so many to choose from.

I remember a lot of those sets were pretty barebones. Just the sub and dub and maybe clean openings and endings. I was really delighted when I got an anime DVD that had a whole bunch of extras like character profiles, music videos, and commentaries.
