Agreed with the sentiment not sure if I agree with TWD being used. I don’t think TWD ever tried to be smart. It’s based on an overwrought and over dramatic comic where DONT U SEE. WE ARE THE MONSTERS is hammered in every story arc. That shit was never trying to be smart, especially when it devolved into “people arguing. Sometimes zombies show up” the soap opera.

However, the first season was good and that’s because it was by the guy who did The Shawshank Redemption and The Mist no surprises there.
