Hey, apply the oxygen mask to yourself before helping others. There are lots of other ways to help and the best one may very well be rest up so you can survive and maybe fight later, in better form.

Thanks. I keep telling myself that. I've been donating a little bit, sharing on social media. Today there was a small protest by the coffee shop I went to and we honked our horn a few times. The other thing is that I'm terrified, of both cops and COVID.

The protests in my city have been very peaceful, but they all ended up at the police station and I've been scared of cops since I was a kid and saw how they treated some of my older relatives, so I didn't want to go. I just donated, signed petitions, and shared information on my social medias. I'm going to work on writing some letters today.

I'm terrified, of both cops and COVID.

That's where I'm at. I would like to be there, but my city's been in the national news a few times (there was a protester that was killed by cops while protesting, and a journalist got shot with pepper bullets) and it just really scares me. And of course it's really hard to social distance while in a crowd like that and in a lot of the footage I've seen there have been a bunch of people not even wearing masks.

And unfortunately with the virus I've lost my job so I don't really have any extra money to be donating.

I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do other than social media stuff, and I feel so guilty.

I did go to one - god, was it last week? I don't even know anymore. It was probably last week. Stay safe, hydrate, social distance.
