Awwww man, that sounds amazing! I'm one of the lone people still in the CSI OG fandom, and Greg is my boy so I'd love to read a fic like that!

There are some writers in the Greg/Grissom end who write similar fics if you want more in the same vein?

That's okay; I haven't read any CSI fics in like 13 years, and GSR was always my scene back in the day. But thanks for the offer! :)

Come to think of it, I can't even remember if this fic I'm talking about was GSR or gen. It was probably GSR, knowing 2005 me's reading preferences. But Greg's death was the most striking and impactful moment and I do recall it hitting Grissom extra hard.
