Well, that's one way to do it

What's an outcome you hoped for, but it happened in a way you weren't expecting? Kind of like a genie joke, or the warning "Careful what you wish for"?

For example, I'd been trying to waste less time on imgur and posting mindless comments. I'd log out or remove the bookmark, but it would only work for a while and I'd be back a few weeks later. Well, today somebody posted a computer graphics gif of a continuous line of squishy hands falling on top of one another. Well, at first, I thought it was really neat.

then

the gif reset

and

THEY WERE ACTUALLY FALLING ON TOP OF A BIG COCKROACH FJDLAKSJFLJK;JSALK;JDF

I haven't been back since this morning. And since imgur has a bad habit of random reposts, no matter how new or how old, I'd rather not run into that gif again.

So... mission accomplished?

I keep telling myself to spend less time on my computer, and this morning I spilled water on my keyboard. 😅 I acted fast enough that I think I avoided major damage (my return key is sticking a little), but I had to actually do stuff besides fuss while I let it dry.

I keep telling myself to spend less time on my computer. And I keep staying up until midnight or later doing something or reading something or listening to something or watching something.

I do the spilling thing too, though mostly with little bits of food. I was embarrassed at the sticky bits on my laptop when I took it to the shop the other day. Nothing in areas that could damage, just embarrassing for the Apple guy to see that.

My laptop is my life.

I was hoping to have more classes online for next quarter because I hate the commute to my school. Well, all my classes are online, but I wasn’t expecting the pandemic. I was just hoping my professors would only have us meet twice during the quarter instead of six times.
