Are you me???

Well, okay, no, we're a bit different. But I too go through phases where I start to buy stuff I have no business buying. Lately it's Barbies, mainly their CLOTHES (omg, people make so many cute ones nowadays!). I don't do any roleplay like a child would, I just like to dress them and pose them -- and buy things like playsets and beds to pose them on, and suddenly I have three huge storage bins of them in my bedroom, and I can only "play" with them when I know for sure my roomie will be gone for the whole day because HOW EMBARRASSING. I think there's a thrill in shopping for them, too... the delicious anticipation of things coming in the mail.

Much more expensive -- reborn dolls. I love buying outfits for them, too. And thankfully I've contented myself with two cheaper versions, a boy and a girl. I can spend hours looking at expensive ones on the internet, though. If I had more space, and if perhaps no one would ever come inside my house but me EVER, I would probably end up with a bunch more.

Yeah, so, I have no advice, just commiserating. Enjoy your dolls, they're not hurting anyone :)
