Oh, it's possible. It just... doesn't happen in canon. The Gusu Lan sect is a lot more formal in the first place - you'll note that Lan Wangji never calls his brother ge ge or anything informal and often addresses him as Zewu-Jun, his title. I can see the younger disciples being far more informal (especially in private) but it's not clear just how long they've known each other and Lan Sizhui seems to be their (informal?) leader so they don't call him A-Yuan.
