I'm so sorry you went through that OP.

I relate to this secret so much. For so long I felt like I deserved what I went through. I still do have those thoughts sometimes, though I know they are wrong thoughts and that I didn't deserve it. For me this kind of media has been cathartic, the idea of characters sacrificing themselves for the greater good and for other people. But I totally get that for other people it would be a turn off.

You did not deserve it. No child deserves to be bullied. I hope you have been able to find healing and help.
