Tagging WIPs as complete is definitely bad form. But not tagging them as complete when they are complete doesn't hurt anyone.

Only hurts the author. People who only read completed fics don't even know about them.

I don't know if I agree with that.

I mean, it doesn't exactly hurt me as a reader who filters their fic search by completed only, but as another Anon said, it does cause the author to miss out on potential readers like me. But if you don't care about that then I suppose it doesn't hurt anyone. I just don't understand why you wouldn't mark your work as complete when it's completed.
