Didn't we have a secret like this last week? Yet I don't get why this is such a big secret - lots of people don't read WIP, what's the big deal?

Personally I just can't remember the story in the sea of other stories about the same fandom if I have to go back to WIPs, and I never remember to go back and check on it to see if it updated, so they tend to just get lost in the ether. But I've never felt bad about not reading WIPs and am sort of confused why other people would.
