With regards to Chinese dramas like The Untamed - does anyone know how people in China primarily watch them? I mean, is it mainly over-the-air live viewership or on-demand streaming?

I don't know for sure, but I got the impression that it's largely on-demand streaming.

Pretty sure The Untamed was on demand streaming, with VIP members getting access to episodes earlier than regular members. I believe it's mostly on demand streaming for a lot of the newer dramas (mostly because the budget for purchasing copyrights and production is much higher at Tencent, for example).
