NAYRT SPN had a kink meme and it kind of became a lightning rod for some pretty horrendous stuff like vore, extreme underage, and beastiality. It was horrible frankly. You got more normal stuff too but for some reason that fandom in particular attracted some people who ran to the unpleasantly dark.

The problem with a kink meme on livejournal is it wasn't set up for tagging or warning. With tumblr and AO3 these days, warnings and tags exist. So YKINMK is easier and better to pull off. All those things you listed can be warned for and tagged.

I'm a firm believer in warnings and that there are some content that is extreme and people shouldn't have to stumble across it. But with tagging in place and warnings, I don't have a problem with people writing what they want to. I won't be reading it myself if it is those things you listed, but give I don't know the person who is writing it or why they are writing it (may be a trauma coping mechanism for abuse they themselves suffered for example), I'm not going to judge. As long as I'm not forced to view it, and as long as it doesn't bleed over into real life, I'm fine.
