looool this reminds me of being 13 years old and going on adultffnet for my first experience with reading with fics (without realizing that ffnet was even a thing, let alone the reason adultffnet existed), so I was getting used to reading messed up stuff and extreme kinks - yet I had some how managed to not come across incest fics in the fandoms I was in until I got into Naruto. At the time there was a really HUGE community for Uchiha incest - not even stopping at Sasuke and his brother, just the whole entire family.
Every time I found Uchiha slash was another case of internal whiplash, especially with fan art; I can't think of the artist's name but they had such a beautiful style of art and about 90% of their work was Uchihacest (so I would constantly be 'horrified' but at the same time loving the art work and feeling all kinds of conflict until I eventually got desensitized to it all).
