Linguistic: Ax instead of ask sounds wrong to me. I know it is a stylistic thing and that language changes over time. But the sound of "axe" when ask is meant still sounds wrong to me and makes me wince.

Double negatives. Texting language in speech or a lot of "like" and "you know" included in a person's language.

Summer: Texas heat. I much prefer winter or fall weather. I'm not a fan of hot weather. With how bright it gets as well the sun just feels oppressive here in summer.

Favorite foods to grill: seafood. Chicken. Lots of different veggies. Hotdogs or sausage.
