I get this. I don't watch this show, but I find that sometimes really sweet, feel-good found-family scenes in tv shows or films end up making me unreasonably depressed because I don't have anything like that and don't think I ever will. It can be really difficult to watch someone enjoying something that you really feel the lack of in your own life.
