Same but add Roach to the list.

They were both carrying Geralt and the show and they deserved better.

The most lasting thing I got from The Witcher was a desire for Yennefer's beetle-green eyeshadow, but I agree that Jaskier was a breath of fresh air. Geralt did him dirty.

Really?!

I thought Jaskier was one of the most annoying characters I've seen on TV in ages. If you're going to have a character whose personality is "charming tit", you have to be able to pull that charm off...

Geralt actually came off pretty well for a character I suspected I was going to dislike going in and Yennefer was awesome.

I felt the same! I was expecting to at least like him because I always tend to like the goofy sidekick but he was just obnoxious, and I honestly never once felt like Geralt actually liked him (much less loved him, as the shippers go on about nonstop)

It's the new Sterek/Klance/Destiel where two dudes exist next to one another but the shippers act like it's practically canon and when it doesn't happen they'll cry queerbait because no one knows what that means anymore, if they ever did.

mte.

i found him obnoxiously annoying and just wanted him to shut the fuck up at any point. like he does nothing but be loud and get himself into trouble, that geralt has to bail him out of, and i'm supposed to find that enjoyable?

he was irritating and i wanted him to go away.

What was his personality except "boyslash bait", really?

(Anonymous) 2020-07-01 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
"Won't shut up" + "Always in trouble due to his own careless behavior," I think.

(Anonymous) 2020-06-27 03:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Well YMMV and all because I found him hopelessly annoying and wanted him to go away pretty much every time he was on-screen.
