I object to those comments as soon as we start talking about "Real Women (tm)."

"Real Women (tm) don't dress up like that."

"Real Women (tm) don't care about that."

"Real Women (tm) have curves!"

Etc.

Meanwhile there are women in dresses caring about things and having all kinds of body types that are getting put down so we can talk about fictional characters.

I prefer to critiques that are targeted like, "It doesn't make sense that Claire would wear heals to work when she works in a dinosaur zoo on a tropical island with lots of unpaved areas, and I don't like that they made the actress/stunt-women run around the forest in heals," instead of "A Real Woman (tm) wouldn't wear heals all day."
