I know exactly what you mean... In the last three fandoms I've been in I followed one of these blogs, unfollowed when it turned too personal, followed another one until it also turned too personal, rinse and repeat.

Maybe I just got unlucky, but it blew my mind just how often it happened. Is it a generational thing? Maybe I'm just too old. But I remember when people had fandom blogs and personal blogs neatly divided, so close friends could follow the personal one as well as the fandom one, and other people only followed the fandom one. Can we please go back to that?
