I kind of know what you mean. The first time I watched the show I wanted to find out what happened. The second time, I knew exactly how heartwrenching things were going to be, and it was hard to get through. I only did it because I know that it turns out better in the end.

I...I see your point. I LOVE 2001, but I wholly admit to the circumstances of seeing it - by myself, in an ice-cold IMAX theater (it was the 2018 rerelease).

That...that is what movies were made for, but I get the feeling of it 'paused' so much to allow the cinematography and atmosphere to eke through, and how it may not be everyone's cuppa.

I should look at 2010.

Hey, nonny, it's okay.

If you truly don't want the constant flood of comments, you could just take the fic down; or, less drastically, either make the fic archive-locked ( to eliminate all the anon comments) or simply turn on comment moderation for the fic and then just ignore the queue.
