We Americans definitely deserve better. You shouldn't feel like you can't ever take time for yourself or else you would be seen as a bad worker, or not a team player, or anything else that puts your worth as an employee in jeopardy. We should definitely be entitled to take a mental health day or a menstrual health day or a "IDGAF and just want to lie on the couch and eat pudding" day. Breaks are good. Breaks are refreshing.
