I totally get that, even though I completely disagree. I actually prefer the manga for how certain elements of the worldbuilding are handled, but it has the same problems youve mentioned (Mamoru being gone; the costume; the story is, basically, unchanged) so I couldnt even suggest that to you.

I am just really, really gay for Seiya. She was my favorite Starlight in the manga and I really didnt mind her being turned into a dude in her civilian form and catching feels for Usagi bc it was so cute. So, you know, to each their own. :)
