As someone who at 17 was still child, pretty much. Not to invalidate anyone who had to grow up by that age, but I was still pretty childish about a number of things.

Anything that made me feel "sexy" as society tends to view it, made me (and in certain cases even now) feel uncomfortable. I always viewed certain styles as things I could wear later, when I was older. Now that I'm older, eh. I can't be arsed to care lol.
