4. I feel the exact same way. <3 Thank you.

8: Compared to the Doctors that came before him nine was...well...boring...beside four was the hottest Doctor ever the scarf man...THE SCARF! with ten being the funniest.

[identity profile] byewonderland.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
The scarf is absolute LOVE. ♥

BUT HE'S CHRISTOPHER FUCKING ECCLESTON

[identity profile] mccarthief.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 09:33 am (UTC)(link)
I know and I've seen his previous stuff but when he played the Doctor he always seemed to be missing that spark that made all the pervious Doctors appealing to me.

Without that spark he just seemed...well...boring.

4. Yeah, I get what you mean. People always look at me like WTF when I tell them I hate a certian chara ò_o

(Anonymous) 2007-03-14 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
2. UGH, I have a friend who does that to me--with her RPs of a pairing I REALLY dislike, no less! She doesn't ask me what my characters would do, though; she just sends me excerpts of stuff that's supposed to be funny, and when I don't find it funny, she tries to explain WHY it's funny. I KNOW WHY IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY/AMUSING TO YOU, BUT IT JUST ISN'T. KAY. And then I try to drop polite hints that I'm not that interested, but she doesn't get it. T_T;;;

I mean, it's okay to talk to people about your RPs every once in a while if you're really excited, or if someone has shown interest in your SL, but doing it ALL THE FREAKING TIME to someone who CLEARLY does not enjoy it? Plz no. x_x

4. I agree wholeheartedly :3

7. Hey, America? Do you guys have special Coca Cola adverts at christmas time too? With the convoy of trucks? People in the UK should know what I'm talking about.

But yes, I love coke commercials too. Heheh~

ANIMATED DANCING CITY TOO!

COKE ADS WIN!

[identity profile] klytaemnestra.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 12:55 am (UTC)(link)

My favourite is the one with the penguins and the polar bears. So cute.

[identity profile] byewonderland.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
[8] Personally, I could never pick a favorite doctor. They were all awesome in their own ways. I keep on trying to steal my dad's scarf from the series. though. And the question mark vest at that. >_> ♥

[identity profile] fairyfey.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
9. Haha, yes. I often have 15 windows up at a time, plus a book, plus gameboy, plus snacks. XD And sometimes tv.

4. Word. Especially when people take it as a sign of immaturity and not being able to tell real life from fantasy. I wouldn't play games or watch shows or even read books if I couldn't emotionally connect with the characters.

[identity profile] zhoutaisdayoff.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
8.) Strange. I have a friend who absolutely obsesses over the 8th Doctor (Paul McGann) and she hates the 9th Doctor. I am a little afraid to tell her that I like 9.

10.) I can't draw PERIOD.

[identity profile] liltigre.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
10) I call bullshit! You can too draw, so THERE. Nyah~

[identity profile] stormbringer986.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
3. I knew so many people like that in highschool. I could stand maybe two of them. I would have loved the chance to punch the rest of them in the face.

4. Fandom seems pretty worthless if you don't connect emotionally with the characters. I can't get interested in something if I don't feel anything for the characters.

[identity profile] klytaemnestra.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 12:53 am (UTC)(link)

1. A lot of people have crushed on me through fandom ... and it's weird.

3. Agreed. People like that make me twitchy.

6. I can't draw chibis. I fail. Lol.

7. Coke commercials make me happy.

10. Fanart is the reason I own a tablet PC. I built my whole laptop around the prospect of drawing fanart. Yes, I am pathetic but it's okay. I really love drawing fanart.

14. I used to keep my old journal locked because I could rant about fandom and no one I was ranting about could see it. But it just made me into a bitch, which is why my current journal is mostly just for creative stuff and 90% of it is unlocked.

15. If you don't cosplay, then you need to. We're all really nice about it most of the time, but I have to admit to privately snarking about how my costume will be better than someone elses.

16. Hehe. Story of my life ... as well as a lot of my friends. Mainly cosplayers.

12

[identity profile] klytaemnestra.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 01:01 am (UTC)(link)

And because it hadn't loaded properly before.

12. Hehe, so no single sparkly tears? My friends and I were joking about the sparkly tear a few weeks ago and how even Bleach is guilty of it with Rukia's sparkly tear. Thankfully I think she's the only character who ever gets the single sparkly tear in the series. You get a lot of crazed crying but she's the only one who gets a special tear. ::dies.::

[identity profile] infringe.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
3. Er. D: I think I'm guilty of this? My username. -DIES-

16. 'cause of the mentality, "S'just the internet. Who cares. Ain't like this person is anywhere near me." :D

(Anonymous) 2007-03-15 09:29 am (UTC)(link)
I'm pretty much ignorant and I don't know who "espada" is...
Do you actually change your personality to look like him/her? Do you actually start saying everywhere that you're like the living clone of that chara/person 'cause you look SO MUCH like him/her? (when it's not true at all)
If not, fear not, you don't share anything with the person this secret is referred to.

[identity profile] levikitty.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
4. *Uses the Cream icon so she'll be recognized* Lawl. All I did was point out what I didn't like about certain Digimon seasons and my strange love of HGTV. I SEE NO HATING.

5. A great place to start is looking up the stuff by Amber Williams. Her art site is Mab's Land (http://www.mabsland.com) and her webcomic is DMFA: Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures (http://www.missmab.com). Her stuff is a shining example of what kind of furs you'd be interested. The art is beautiful, every one of her characters are fun and she uses all kinds of animals.

(Anonymous) 2007-03-15 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
I actually only meant one person in particular in that picture, and you weren't it. Sorry.

[identity profile] luzerna.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
10. This is going to sound cheesy, but the only thing you can do is practice. Nobody's good when they start out!

Try copying or tracing to get the feel for it if you're a real beginner. Photos work better than stylized drawings like anime/manga art (it's easier to find your own style), but you can do whatever floats your boat. You'll be really surprised at how fast you improve by eyeballing; just don't use it as a crutch. Once you start feeling comfortable with the pencil, you should move on and start doing your own stuff no matter how much you think it sucks. No one learns if they stay in their comfort zone! You improve much faster if you challenge yourself constantly and do it a lot.

There are a lot of tutorials on Deviantart. If you haven't looked any up on there I really suggest it. I haven't found a lot that have helped me, but I know a lot of people who have learned tons from that site.

Anyway, I'm rambling again. :D;; In short, good luck to you! Don't give up.

12. One Piece's art style really turned me off the series when I first saw it. >_< But then everyone around me started ranting about how great the characters were, so I read a bit of the manga. I was really suprised, actually, because I ended up liking it. Just shows you can't judge something by how it looks.

[identity profile] kokamo.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
6. Oops, I just contributed to the massive accumulation of chibi fanart at DeviantArt about, oh... an hour and a half ago. Sorry. :D

[identity profile] kokamo.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
And I'm going to do it again tomorrow! Sorry again. X3

Yeah I know, I'm the coolest-- replying to my own comment. Hurhur. 8D

[identity profile] niwakaame.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 06:39 am (UTC)(link)
6. OOoooh How I understand you!

I'm pretty guilty of HATING chibi art (Save for a few exceptions) myself.
It's the cheesy look that screams 'hee hee I am cute hee!'. Oh, I will make you eat your heehees, dear chibi.

[identity profile] kokamo.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
You never find yourself succumbing to the cuteness of the chibis? You must be a cold, heartless person! :O You gotta admit, some people do the chibi thing really well (well, you don't "gotta" admit it, but...). And, okay, I don't know that you're a cold, heartless person; I'm just pulling your leg. (Ugh, where ever did that expression come from?)

:)

[identity profile] niwakaame.livejournal.com 2007-03-15 05:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I do like some chibis. Which would be Jack666Rulez (http://jack666rulez.deviantart.com) and Rulinian (http://rulinian.deviantart.com)'s kinda really awesomely twisted chibis. Oh, and the chibis from the Naruto-mini game (http://www.narutomini.com) make me melt. Because they're really ,well, energetic and non-static or something.

But cheesy-cute,or cute when they're just so static, or when there's flowers and happy? bring me a big gun!

I allow you to pull my leg as long as you do not tear it apart!

[identity profile] vriska.livejournal.com 2007-03-16 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
6. Why don't you try looking at something you LIKE, instead of looking up things that you don't like and needlessly making fun of them? :D
