I can sew and in theory I would like clothes that fit better than standard sizing and have more pockets and no annoying tags, but the quality of the fabric in my local store is so poor I doubt they'd last more than a couple of washes. I think they just buy all the rejected fabric at a low price and sell it for a profit.

I make all my own clothes (except jeans, you legit cannot make jeans for less than you can buy them and also it sucks to make them) so I can attest that depending on the store, and the type of fabric, it's actually pretty good quality. Most cottons you can't go wrong with.
