Chicken feathers i'm kinda side-eyeing, because chickens are killed for food and all those feathers get used for stuff, it's not like they're just sitting around ripping feathers out of living birds.

Fur is a no-no, because fuck that, but I get that people who are invested in humane animal treatment (as we all should be) wouldn't want that.

Actually, yes they are ripping feathers out of still living birds. That's how a percentage of down feathers and decorative feathers like ostrich feathers are produced. Look it up, it's pretty gruesome and horrifying.
