They're spamming bullshit tags to make something go away because they personally don't like it, instead of behaving like reasonable human beings and either filtering out the tags they don't like or just not clicking on the fics in the first place. How is that not a tantrum?

Are they spamming bullshit tags though? It sounds like they're literally just going out of their way to create more content to tag with the correct tags, so that the content they don't like is buried under content they do like. Which is maybe a little petty. But also a very constructive and pacifist way of channeling one's anti energy. I can't really fault them for it.

Again: all they're doing is inserting tags to their fanfic so as to make "content they don't like" as you put (or "problematic kinks" as I put) disappear in the sea of fanfiction, because people (including children apparently) were bothered by it enough to join the movement. It's anything BUT a tantrum, just reacting to AO3's policy if anything. IA with above anon.
