Uh, the Chronicles of Blood and Stone series is really bad. I know it is really bad. It makes many lists of worst fantasy for a reason. But I read the first one, and the setting worked for me and the sex was hot, and the book was fun. I'm probably going to download the other two from somewhere (author is creepy, don't want to actually give him money).

I can't get past the "women are inherently submissive" thing in those. I'm all for BDSM of any sort in my fantasy, but women being inherently submissive does seem to be a hard line for me.
