I disagree that it is wildly OOC ever. It's OOC from where Zuko left her, but it's fairly clear to me that the comics were giving her adventure therapy. she still needs control to feel loved, she still feels like that should come from fear, but it's also clear that she wants family badly, and half of her intention in trying to get people to rebel against Zuko was trying to get Zuko back in a place where he's with her not against her (i.e. she wants him to agree with her). her internal logic is something she's willing to change, and since her internal logic is significantly abuse driven, and she actually struggled with it in the series....I don't think its OOC forever.

but i agree i absolutely hate family = happiness usually, it's weird as hell i want it here.
