For me, a fantasy where sexism or other forms of oppression are completely inexistent does nothing. It's so removed from my experience that I can't even imagine what kind of person I would be if I lived in such a world, so it doesn't work as escapism in the way that "sexism exists, but we overcome it" does. I'm certainly not against such works existing, but I have no real interest in consuming them.
