If she shows up at the sale next year, I'll be very shocked because she supposedly sold out for real this year and wasn't even the last doll standing (that honor went to Julie). I'll be really sad if Melody shows up next year since she was supposedly marked down to sixteen dollars or something like that.

I thought American Girl dolls were always at least $100? That's why I couldn't get one as a kid.

You can get returned dolls at the MCM sale for about sixty bucks each (or lower, depending on how many they have of the doll). It’s where American Girl sends all their overstock and returned items. Thing is , the sale is in person and only in Madison, Wisconsin. They had it online this year due to the pandemic, but it was only open to the people who had already purchased a ticket in March.

I was shocked by this too! I remember them costing $100ish 20 years ago.

Up to the point when they reach the Earth Kingdom for the final time. After that there's obviously such a lack of communication/fore-story that ruins the entire show for me.

So much went wrong, from Zuko, to Katara, to Jet, and obviously Aang.

Childhood fondness only goes so far, and this series is not one that gets it from me. It fucked up, got lost, and had no idea where to go. After the Dai-Li (?) they gave up plain and simple. That's all there is to it.

I completely agree. Book 3 needed Aang to have multiple deus ex machina to end the story the way the showrunners wanted. I still have a lot of fondness for the show, but it's not because of good storytelling.

As someone who's never been into dolls, even as a kid, I love all the dolls secrets! It's like an huge world I never knew existed.
