Would cost too much for most people to take a risk. That much CGI on a TV show? It'd do good as a cartoon but with today's cartoon trends I don't expect it to look good.

Same here, anon. Thankfully I never liked anything "problematic" (on the contrary, I used to scoff at popular "problematic" things before it was cool) so I guess I still like everything I liked back then, even if it'd be "cringy" by today's standards. Go us!

If she shows up at the sale next year, I'll be very shocked because she supposedly sold out for real this year and wasn't even the last doll standing (that honor went to Julie). I'll be really sad if Melody shows up next year since she was supposedly marked down to sixteen dollars or something like that.

I never shipped these two, but your secret made me lol, OP. It's not the same situation, but I felt a similar glee when Naruto/Hinata became canon and so many people were pissed that he didn't end up with Sakura (or Sasuke).

As a writer from Iowa, I'll drink to that.

(It also takes money to be a writer in that, to be a full-time writer, you often need a lot of money in place to have the free time to write. Before the quarantine, I was working 40 hours a week for minimum wage, and when I had free time I was often too drained to work on another project. I need to marry rich, apparently!)
