I've started rewatching the original Star Trek, and it is a lot better than I remember. Sure, it is cheesy and the effects are bad, but a lot of the stories are solid and fun. Also, I think I'm developing a thing for Kirk. He's pretty sexy. Not as sexy as reboot!Kirk, but reboot!kirk is the only good part of those movies.

I adore Karl Urban, but DeForrest Kelly will always be the ultimate Bones.

I'm rewatching it too! And have come to much the same conclusion about Kirk. Say what you like about Shatner, he carries that series; flirts with everyone, especially Spock.

I remember, when it first appeared in my country, thinking it was very cheesy and American, and now I'm thinking, yes, it's cheesy, but the Americans had Issues at the time and this series was actually addressing them.

I'm enjoying it a lot.
