From what I've seen that's mostly the kink meme, and only like a tiny fraction of it. I mean, I like Hetalia, but if that shit was running rampant throughout the fandom, I doubt that I would be a part of it. The majority of it is better-natured than that, I've personally found.

The kink meme (and the occasional people who ship Russia/Lithuania) are the only things that cross the line in the fandom, from what I've seen. For the most part, everyone else treats events pretty well. Judging fandoms based on their kink memes is not a good idea...

I know plenty of sane Hetalia fans too. I just wanted to know that there isn't a large faction of fandom going around thinking that mass murder is hot, which I know now. :)
