Except for the ones who notice all of the Asian trappings and other relative markers and figure he's Asian. Just like every other character on the show.

When I was a little kid and first started watching DBZ and Sailor Moon, I figured out they were Asian pretty quickly just based on the setting, and those dubs were pretty damn Americanized. I'm sure kids these days can easily do the same.

And I'm guessing the OP probably meant the teenagers and adults in fandom anyways.
