I love all the 'THE KINK MEME DOESN'T REPRESENT FANDOM!!!1!' comments from the Hetalia fans & defenders. Kink memes are really fandom at its most honest. It's what fandom at large wants to see yet is too afraid to ask for under a user name for fear of reprisal from friends and fellow fans. This wank is so humorous because the people asking for Rape of Nanking fic and the like are probably on the friends lists of some of the people here claiming that this type of thing doesn't represent them and to ignore those sick, evil anons on the meme that they'd never have anything to do with.

As always, Hetalia fandom is far too much srs biz than it even deserves to be.

Yes, because everything should always be judged by its darker side. Always. With no exception. Disney fandom is full of a bunch of furries. All people who like high-school dramas are pedophiles. And every human on the face of the Earth is a horrible human being because a few people chose to partake in horrible, horrible habits. And nobody in these groups chooses NOT to do those things, because everyone likes the same things and everyone is into the grossest things ever.

Did you miss the part were everyone was wary about the one furry vore request? Or the countless comments of "I was worried about this turning out badly, since it's such a sensitive subject"? Or how some of the more offensive requests have still gone unfilled? Or how other Hetalia fans are saying "Yeah, that stuff's pretty gross."

Kindly take your thinly-veiled insults and shove them up your pretentious ass.

An atmosphere of fear is a totally healthy environment! Because we can't possibly know who made these requests, let's just suspect everyone! No one deserves the benefit of the doubt, even if there's a less than 1/3000 chance that they're the guilty party!

Uhhh, because the kink meme doesn't represent fandom? Let's start a witch hunt and assume that anyone who likes Hetalia is likely enough to get off to Rape of Nanking rapefic that we should automatically disassociate ourselves with them. Because for gods sake, what is that "benefit of the doubt" thing that everyone keeps talking about? One of your fandoms may have rapefic in it! Or people who get off to pedophilia! My god, I had better stop talking to you, because you might actually BE one of those people who likes that sick shit -- I'd better defriend everyone and refuse to talk to them because they might like something like that and just not admit it to me oh god they're everywhere ajkshfkajjahfkja

Seriously. If it bugs you that much? Go disconnect your Internet. Or, you know, if you're automatically going to assume that someone is likely to be a sick shit just because they're in the Hetalia fandom and maybe 2% of kink meme fics were that horrible, then please don't associate with us. Because I'm pretty sure most people won't care if we have your love and respect if you're going to come up with really dumbass reasons to hate us just because we like a canon you don't.

It's even worse: They can be anywhere in the world!!
