I'm trying to figure out why people are so quick to write off an entire community, numbered in the thousands, for what may well be a few isolated cases. There are, in fact, over 3000 members in the main Hetalia community. The number of offensive requests on the meme couldn't possibly even come close to that. Just because you don't know the identity of the few offenders, should the group as a whole bear the stigma?

If you call that me trying to Godwin's you, so be it. The essence of it is the same. I get that you are horrified, and your fear is valid, but if you think about it, the fear is almost always valid in these cases. But it's that fear that drives people to persecute, while the few guilty ones hide behind anonymity. What you and me are talking about, that's just the small stuff, but it doesn't make it right.
