I should add, I think there are still people vidding in the classic vidder style. It's just that with LJ dead, old-school vidders seem to mainly be left with YT, where their classic-style vids get swamped by new-school style vids, which are generally flashier, less complex, and far greater in number.

I myself also prefer the old calssic style. There are some vids with dialogue that work for me, but really only some.
