Nah. Not watching something containing shit you're put off by is completely reasonable. Shit, we have entire rating systems and online databases devoted to letting people avoid or be forewarned for content they might not enjoy. There is no practical difference between OP not wanting to watch straight romance and me not wanting to watch a violent movie, or something with a prominent child character, or that one actor with the annoying laugh that's like a hot needle being rammed into my ears.
