I spent yesterday on the couch in front of the tv because I was feeling cruddy, but felt much better when I woke up this morning, so after breakfast I went for a 35-minute run. Took a nice long shower and had lunch, watched the news, and spent the afternoon on my patio reading and smoking a little weed. Tonight's dinner is lemon pepper chicken and fresh green beans. I might go fo a walk later if it gets cooler outside. I'm trying for an early bedtime again, as that has been working well for me.

I finished watching Umbrella Academy. I liked the second season more than the first one.

Found out my cousin was cheating on her husband with her hairdresser's ex-husband. So they are getting a divorce. Also, she is converting to Islam.

I was drying dishes this morning when a wineglass broke in my hands. I hadn't been rough with it at all. I wound up spending all morning trying to find an open store so I could get another one. (If it weren't for covid I would have just gone to Cost Plus but it's too far away and I'm taking travel restrictions seriously. Anyway I think it's closed.) I finally bought another one, brought it home and it's too tall to fit into any of my kitchen cupboards, despite the fact that I have milkshake and pilsner glasses that are tall and fit in there just fine. At least I didn't cut my fingers on the broken glass.

Still feeling depressed and icky, plus didn't get to sleep until 6 AM and then woke up at 9:30, so had another mostly unproductive day. I did get some laundry done and a couple more job applications.

Spent a bunch of time on flightrising. Tried to watch Two Towers on our Blue-ray player, but our speakers appear to not be currently hooked up to the player for some reason.

Folding the laundered clothes that I forgot to do yesterday, listening to Belgian New Beat music from 1989, and searching out any bi content online or on Amazon and Netflix.

I posted a book review up on my booktube. My program I use to edit though is messing with the audio so next video I'm going to have to figure out what's wrong.

Since my head and neck hurt, I've spent the rest of the day compiling a bunch of world building into a master document for a new series of books I'm writing. Mostly to try and figure out "what do I need to know?" It's fantasy but I'm trying to make it not equal to any single society. So you can't go "oh this is medieval Europe or China or whatever."

But at the same time I have to make it distinct from my sci fi solarpunk stuff.

I just hope I can do justice to both of them. Too many writing projects. Not enough health and time.

Didn't go to bed until this morning so I slept most of the day and just woke up like an hour and a half ago.

I need to do laundry and some cleaning tonight, and I'm doing a grocery trip in the morning so I need to go over my list some more and make sure everything I might need for the next couple weeks is on it since I'm trying to go as infrequently as possible right now.

I was full of crazy brain today and I hated it. I also put in my two week notice at my job (a planned thing, not something caused by crazy brain) in preparation for trades pre-apprenticeship classes that start on August 31st. I'm quite excited about that but also very nervous.

Now I'm drinking beer and trying to download Photoshop.

I had super stressful medical appointments the last three days in a row, but none tomorrow! Probably I'm just going to like... smoke weed and watch TV tonight, maybe watch some RPDR (it's one of my fave shows for when I just need to chill and get my mind off of things) or some other competition reality show.

Dug out my garden drains. One of those impulsive "well, someone's gotta do it and I guess it may as well be me" kind of jobs. Ended up being far deeper than I thought, so what I estimated as an hour or so's work became preeetty much my whole afternoon. Now I have achey back muscles because damn, digging deep down but in a narrow narrow hole doesn't use the usual gardening muscles.
