If you screw up, you don't have to delete your Twitter. Just remain online and don't let idiots fuck up your mental health.

Canceled celebrity aside, I hope that Dr Google can talk to a irl doctor for you and get you on the path to your diagnosis (and meds).
The process of trying different things before something sticks is very frustrating especially when theres so much guess work involved D:

to answer your question, no, hair longer than the shoulders with a center part is not androgynous enough. still looks girl. I hate that that's still true but that's the world we live in. argue about the counterculture since 1965 and Viking/Celt/Gaul/Chinese culture since forever all you want, the silhouette you shooped still reads feminine.

oh, were there other words on this secret?

What does this mean?

(Anonymous) 2020-08-14 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Theres a celebrity that you rather like, but you aren't 'a fan'. And yet you are projecting this much on them including your officially undiagnosed mental illness???

I mean, sure, they may be struggling but your main focus should be on you and your health, not this (most likely rich celeb who has surrounded themselves with paid enablers).

I really hope that you aren't letting their apparent 'canceling' become a focal point of your time. Especially considering that a large portion of these people call the paps on purpose.

Not many paparazzi just wandering aimlessly around during a global pandemic.

OP

OP: "hope this celeb isn't going through this (as I do similar things accidentally because of my illness and KNOW it is hell), mental illness sucks, best regards! S!B fanfic"
Commenter: "OMG you are projecting your officially undiagnosed mental illness on a celeb!!!"

Honestly, try and convince me you are not a troll.
Also (this goes for other commenters too) sorry some of us are not able to get a proper diagnosis by people who should be qualified to do it lol.

You clearly wanted a particular response from people when you wrote this secret OP and you didn't get it hence you are now calling people trolls.

You yourself state that since you've found the self diagnosis that you believe fits, you feel better knowing that there are meds out there for it. That's genuinely fantastic. Go and do that please.

I'm saying that projecting your own mental illness onto a celebrity that you claim to not be a fan of is not a healthy pastime and is detrimental to your health.

You're calling us trolls for being really fucking concerned over this genuinely worrying secret.

You skipped over everything and decided to fixate on the diagnosis thing but sure, let's start from there.

I was just stating a fact that YOU TOLD ME. I didn't say that 'you dont have this mental illness' or 'I think you're making this up'.

I said I hope you get the official diagnosis so that you can LEGALY recieve the meds that you yourself brought up.

I then told you that I hope you move away from thinking about this person and concentrate on yourself.

There's nothing troll-like about this. A therapist would say this, a random person on the street would say this. Friends would say this.

I think you just got mad because I pointed out that the celeb that you are absolutely obsessed with is surrounded by a lot of people that you clearly believe aren't worthy or something.

If you think I'm a troll still, how about you unleash this secret to some people you know IRL and see what advice they give you.

I really hope you get the help you need, OP.
I find when celebrities are open about mental illness, it really can be beneficial. Watching Bill Hader talk frankly about suffering from anticipatory anxiety made me realise that's what I suffer from, which helped me a lot.
However, in turns of this celebrity's potential own mental illness, there is no way to know whether they really are suffering from mental illness until they are open about it.
And in terms of the celebs "cancellation", I'm not sure what they did, but a person can have a mental illness and still be a massive jerk. The two are not mutually exclusive. Having a mental illness is not an excuse to be an asshole to others (I'm assuming if there is a call for this celeb to be cancelled, they must have done something bad).
Yes, people absolutely make mistakes and celebs are constantly in the public eye. If they have a mental illness, absolutely, I hope they get the help they need.
Again, if they're calling to be cancelled then it's also understandable that people are angry with their behaviour. (Personally, I was disappointed when Sebastian Stan, who I used to love, was photographed on a yacht in Ibiza after talking in detail about everyone needing to self isolate, as he had been self-isolating in New York. It made me realise there are different rules for celebs and a fair amount of hypocrisy. 'Self isolate because it's important but if you get a chance to go on a yacht with a hot new partner, then go for it and screw the plebs!')

Alright fellas, who's the celebrity?

(Anonymous) 2020-08-17 11:57 am (UTC)(link)
The only celebs I can think of with fans this obsessively concerned all the time is Demi Lovato, Kanye West or Justin Beiber.

(Anonymous) 2020-08-17 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
I was thinking Miley Cyrus but I'm probably wrong.

The OP may just be projecting super hard onto a celeb who's has zero mental health issues tbh. So figuring out who it is could be like finding a needle in a haystack.

I'm really glad you got help, but yeah, you're writing fanfic. The reason people are harder on celebs, beyond the normal dehumanizing nature of celebrity, is that their public appearances are mostly all curated, even more so that your friends and family, because they have to sell the public on whatever service, art or whatever they want the public to buy. It's not that there's no sincerity, but that it's to a purpose. Unless you know the person personally, you're never going to know what were thought-out decisions, and what were impulsive ones and what were anxious ones, and what were calculated ones.

Anyway, you can always advocate for your diagnosis publicly, and hope that whoever needs that awareness and knowledge, if it's your celebrity, gets it.
