113. You mean, someone other than me hates her? Gah! Finally! I'm so sick of all the "Haruhi is GOD" propaganda that I could puke. No, Haruhi is selfish and I don't like her in the least, which is a shame because I think some of the other characters are decent, but since the show centers around her, I hate it.

Sure, she can rewrite reality however she wants, yadda yadda, but I still don't consider her God or a god. Aren't gods usually self-aware? She doesn't wake up one day and say "Oh hey, I think I'm going to rewrite the world as we know it. It just happens when she gets emo over a boy or how boring her life is. Some god.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but in the actual context of the show, Haruhi is considered God because of her abilities. That's just all there is to the people referring to her as such- they're not spouting propoganda, she actually is, canonly, God.

(And I also should point out that there are Greek demi-gods who were not self-aware, as far as I know, so the idea of Haruhi isn't 100% unique in that sense.)
