I study Japanese, I know what I want to do with my life, and zOMG, it has nothing to do with Scanlations of Bishies or Anime/Manga in general. Shocking, I know.
Though, come to think about it, I wonder how all my professors are making a living, considering hos they are all Japan-crazed maniacs... hmm... :/
But I guess what I say doesn't count anyway, since people who study Japanese don't deserve any respect, right? ;D

Most of the fanbrats I know (most of them aren't even old enough to study anyways) want to learn japanese just because they want to read manga raws or understand un-subbed japanese drama and stuff.
They think japanese boy bands are sexy and tell everybody that they want to have a japanese boyfriend because... they are soooooo kewaiiiiii~
I guess the one who posted no. 117 doesn't want to say "all the people that learn japanese are stupid and japan is stupid in general" but that he/she had no respect for the ones that think "japan is great, yay" and don't have a clue what they want to do in their future and are nothing more than fangirls.
