112 - *shrug* I'm a POC and I usually get the opposite -- assholes who think my opinions on things aren't worthy of considering. I get dismissed in arguments about Green Lantern and my support for John Stewart in the JLA cause I "totally prefer him because he's black" (nevermind that my favorite GL is actually Guy Gardner). It's cool that you like Batman though, so do I! It's always nice to come across another POC (any POC, not just black) into Batman.
117 - Somehow I don't think they aren't getting along with you because you don't think Japan is the greatest thing since hot chocolate...
123 - I can't stand them.
136 - Ew at the finger thing! It's funny though -- I used to not be as squicked out over things like this -- it's like I got re-sensitized or something...

156 - LOL no. If you unconditionally hate someone for criticizing those books, that does indeed make you a rabid fan of then. I mean I liked all 6 books (7th book? What 7th book?), but I can totally understand people who didn't.
