Good for you.

Just did this yesterday myself about reviewing of all things. (I'm an indie author so...) People seriously don't know when their tone turns aggressive and dismissive thinking because they're calm that they're being polite and respectful.

Not how it works. Words matter. (And this is a group of authors for god's sake.) Learning both about trad publishing and being in fandom spaces has given a lot of insight. I wish I could dump more people into it. Or you know poke them into "go to youtube and twitter, learn about publishing from agents. Aieee."
