I really like that there are a lot of mediocre to bad parents in sequels of popular media with their kids. It's makes perfect sense that their trauma, or jobs, or upbringing, or lack of good parenting references, would make them unable to be great parents, and frankly I think this is true of a LOT of people's parents irl, so I really like that aspect of sequel media.

I just usually hate or dislike the sequel media or like LOK find it less compelling. I wish I got great sequel media with mediocre to bad parenting.

S!B: Most people hate the sequel media and use the not-great parenting as as reason why
