Yeah my reaction was mostly to stop paying attention to William Shatner. Which honestly I've always considered his Celebrity Persona annoying - I've actually argued in the past that William Shatner's Celebrity Persona overtaking his actual performance of Captain Kirk in the Original Series in the public memory is one of the major reasons why the popular memory of TOS is so weird and inaccurate.

Also, I seem to recall getting the sense at some point that with his Twitter it was a situation where he had direct access to the account and ultimate control over what it was saying, but he also clearly had some assistants helping him with it at the same time. So a collaborative thing.
