She's the reason I didn't make it past 10 minutes of the first episode. She was so genuinely irritating. I didn't much like the other characters either, but I couldn't handle hearing her talk anymore.

I adored Wen Qing. As much as I loved Jiang Yanli too, it was nice to have another female character who was completely different.

Plus Yanli was sweet and maternal. If she'd been the only main female character it would have been a bit off putting for me because it would have come across as pushing that narrow image of feminity.

Vanya's my favorite from the comics and I loved her even more on the show, but I had friends who really didn't like her in the first season. It made me really happy when I found out that they liked her a little more this season. For me, it seemed like all the siblings were more likable in the second season than in the first one.

I don't know enough about Ellen Page to know if she is underweight or if that's just how she looks. In any case, I just hope she's healthy and doing well.
